Gulf Stream is a town resting on the southeastern part of Palm Beach County, Florida, United States. The population was 716 at the 2000 census. Gulf Stream ranked as the 11th highest-income place in the United States and is located on South Florida’s Atlantic Ocean Coast. Although Gulf Stream is a modest town of only 0.8 square miles, don’t be misled by its tiny size – Gulf Stream has amazing views of the Atlantic Ocean and is a hidden gem sitting between Boynton Beach and Delray Beach.
Gulf Stream is also the only remaining stretch of the State Road A1A, from Jacksonville to Miami, where the Australian Pine Canopy still remains. It has since been designated as an historic and scenic highway, allowing the Town to look after and grow new plants to maintain and expand a group of more than 300 pines.
