In this Boca Raton dining room, a unique woven rattan base holds a round glass top allowing the spectacular design to truly shine. Custom Parsons chairs are upholstered in performance linen for ultimate durability and easy cleaning. A vintage-inspired sideboard by RH fashioned after a travel trunk offers ample space for buffet-style dining while grounding the space and offering ample surface for displaying decorative accessories when not in use.
When her clients purchased this new construction estate home at the prestigious St. Andrew’s Country Club in Boca Raton, Olga Adler was given just a few months to transform the empty space into a warm and functional family home. She was tasked with combining some of her clients’ existing possessions from another Boca Raton resort home with new purchases and custom creations, to create space that feels both familiar and exciting.
Known for her use of striking light fixtures and original artwork, Adler used clean-lined furniture and used solid neutral textiles to allow the art and dramatic lighting do most of the talking. To accommodate adults as well as kids and pets, Adler chose performance fabrics and natural wool and silk rugs for a luxurious but casual and worry-free Boca Raton lifestyle.
As in many Olga Adler’s designs, the space in this Boca Raton dining room is illuminated by a spectacular chandelier by Currey&Co.. Adorned by hundreds of glass drops suspended from an organic bronze frame, this stunner creates a truly magical feel. The house is set on a private lot allowing for beautiful views of carefully selected plantings without the need for elaborate window coverings. As in other rooms of this house, original art sets the stage for fascinating dinner time conversations.
“I enjoy creating spaces where people congregate naturally – family and friends gathering together over delicious food can create the most precious memories and that’s what my designs for Boca Raton homes is all about”.
